We EDDY CURRENT CONTROLS (INDIA) LIMITED is a Public Limited Company established in the year 1971. We pioneered the manufacture of Eddy Current Variable Speed Drives and related control systems in India in collaboration with M/s Yaskawa Electric Mfg. Co. Ltd., Tokyo, Japan.
The Company has manufacturing facilities at Chalakudy, Kerala and Coimbatore, Tamilnadu. Its all India customer base for the Variable Speed Drives includes giants in the Private and Public sectors which forms more than 70% of the domestic market. We also export products to Gulf countries, African Countries and Europe.
Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities are based at Chalakudy Kerala, India spreading over total area of about 40,000 m2, we manufacture wide range of industrial automation products. ie, variable speed drives, switched reluctance drives, electric material handling equipments, and customized products. Company has an in-house R & D (research & development) facility, set up in 1989, which is recognized by DSIR (Department of Scientific & Industrial Research), Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India enabling development of valuable new products. This has enabled company to develop and market products that have become industry standards.
The company has similar manufacturing facility in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu where the casting unit is located.
